Lung Function Tests

Lung Function Tests are provided by our diagnostic partner, Advanced Pulmonary & Sleep Diagnostics, to assist our physicians in the diagnosis of various respiratory conditions. The following respiratory tests are performed at their head office in Eleanor Street, Footscray:

• Spirometry (Pre and Post Bronchodilator)
• TLCO (Gas Transfer Factor – Single Breath)
• Static Lung Volume (Plethysmography)
• Oximetry
• Mannitol Challenge Test

APSD also operate sites in Niddrie (NWSC), Melton, Sydenham and Werribee. The following test is performed at these sites:

• Spirometry/TLCO (Pre and Post Bronchodilator, Gas Transfer Factor – Single Breath
